Dr. Huxtable is a native of Toronto, Canada who attended Havergal College for High School and graduated with, highest achievement awards, in Biology and Chemistry. She went on to attend the University of Toronto Dental School where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.), graduating in 1983 as a general practitioner.
Dr. Huxtable is licensed by The Royal College of Dental Surgeons. She remains current by continuously reviewing new procedures and advances in dentistry through continuing education lectures, dental conventions and the latest dental literature. As well, Dr. Huxtable holds annual C.P.R. re-certification classes at her office.
With her caring personal style and her desire to help patients have healthy smiles, Dr. Huxtable has fostered a unique, alternative approach to treating gum disease.
In 2008, Dr Huxtable embarked on a life changing journey. She has taken her team along with her in studying at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. The entire team is very knowledgeable in understanding the connections between oral health and overall health. As a result, Dr Huxtable is excited to be helping patients who have been suffering with chronic migraines, neck, shoulder and back pain. As well she is able to help patients that suffer from various sleep disturbance issues such as: grinding, sleep apnea, and snoring.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and three children, skiing, cooking, and gardening. She has also obtained her Private Pilots license.

She believes in a well rounded education, and enjoys bringing the most up to date information back to her patients. Dr Huxtable is a member of the ODA - Ontario Dental Association (since 1983), AACP - American Academy of Cranial Facial Pain - Canadian Chapter (since 2008), Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club (since 1983), LVI Aurum Classic Study Club (since 2008), RCDS - Royal College of Dental Surgeons (since 1983), and the ICCMO, International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics (since 2011). As well, Dr. Huxtable has earned the distinction of "Fellow" with the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI).
